7 Tips To Reduce Your Xmas Email Stress

1.  Having time off over Xmas?  Put a footer on your email NOW to let people know when you will be on leave.

2.  Use the Out of Office message to reduce the volume of email you have when you return by detailing who will be handling your work whilst you are away.

3.  If you MUST check your emails whilst on leave, set aside designated time each day to do it and STICK to it!

4.  Commit to 15 minutes uninterrupted each week before Xmas to deleting messages and tidying up your email.

5.  Archive older mail that you need to keep but don’t need to access everyday.

6.  Empty your deleted items bin – this may not be happening automatically!

7.  Use flags and reminders as prompts on items that need to be completed before Xmas.
